Key To Status Terminology
Recommended: New procedures should start using the recommended version.
Supported: A supported version can be used to exchange submissions. However, the recommended DES version should be used when starting a procedure.
Deprecated: A deprecated version can be used to exchange submissions but this version will become retired, and the upgrade to the recommended DES version should be planned. Deprecated status lasts for at least six months.
Retired: A retired DES version cannot be used to exchange submissions.
Released: A released version is available to stakeholders for implementation in systems but cannot yet be used to exchange submissions.
Planned: A planned version is planned for future release. If a beta release is available, it cannot be used to exchange submissions
